With Mimoni escrow, the buyer deposits funds up front. The seller only delivers once the goods or services are ready. After the buyer confirms delivery or final satisfaction, funds are released to the seller.
Yes. Projects can be broken into milestones. Each milestone can be funded separately and released once the agreed deliverables for that milestone are met.
You can raise a dispute. If the buyer does not object within a prescribed period (for example, 5 days) after you submit evidence of work delivered, then the funds may be automatically released to you based on our dispute policy.
Not always. But in a dispute situation, you may need to provide proof of delivery—whether that is through files uploaded, screenshots, photos, delivery receipts, or other relevant evidence.
Either party (buyer or seller) can open a dispute. Our dispute team will request evidence from both sides, examine the case, and make a fair decision.
Most disputes are resolved within 2-5 business days, depending on how quickly both parties respond and the complexity of the case.
Yes. If you have additional evidence that was not considered originally, you can file an appeal. There is typically a limited window (e.g. within 48 hours after the decision) to do this.
No. Raising a dispute is free of charge for account holders in good standing.
